Privacy policy
What this website processes, and what it does not.
Last updated:
1. In short
This website sets no cookies, embeds no third-party fonts, maps, videos or scripts, and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. There is no contact form and no newsletter.
The site consists of prebuilt files with no server-side application logic. The only personal data arising from a visit are the technically necessary connection data that the hosting provider processes when delivering the page.
2. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Alexander Frank, 3060-097 Cantanhede, Portugal. Email: info@alexander-frank.org
No data protection officer has been appointed, as the statutory conditions for this are not met.
3. Server log files
When this website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically processes data transmitted by your browser: the address requested, the date and time of access, the volume of data transferred, the referrer, browser type and version, operating system and the IP address.
This processing is technically necessary in order to deliver the website and to secure its operation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in technical provision and in defending against attacks.
These data are not merged with other data sources. They are not evaluated for marketing or analytics purposes.
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany.
The provider processes the connection data described above on my behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in Germany; no transfer to third countries takes place.
5. Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies at all, neither first-party nor third-party, and none for analytics, marketing or profiling. That is why there is no consent banner.
If you actively switch the language of the website, your choice is placed in your browser's local storage under the key “af-locale”, so that the site does not redirect you again on your next visit. Nothing but the language code “de” or “en” is stored. That entry never leaves your device and is not transmitted to me. It is strictly necessary for the function you have expressly requested; you can delete it at any time through your browser settings.
When you first open the entry page, the language configured in your browser is evaluated in order to send you to the German or the English version. This evaluation happens entirely inside your browser. No location is derived from your IP address, and the result is not stored.
6. Contact by email
If you write to me by email, I process the data you transmit, at minimum your email address and the content of your message, solely in order to deal with your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of my legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Your message is retained until the purpose ceases to apply and no statutory retention periods stand in the way. Commercial and tax law retention periods remain unaffected.
7. External links
This website links to external services, including LinkedIn, GitHub, Credly, Microsoft Learn and Android Enterprise. The links only open after you click them; no data is transmitted to those providers beforehand.
As soon as you follow a link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. I have no influence over their data processing.
8. Your rights
You have the right to information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
You also have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).
Independently of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
9. No automated decision-making
No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
10. Changes to this policy
I will adapt this privacy policy as soon as the technical implementation of the website or the legal situation changes. The date given above indicates the current version.
